Silver House by Hyde

With an older land rover sitting out front, sits another gem a Delorean saw in the 80s movie – back to the future. The Silver House by Hyde is the ideal home for a bachelor with friends and family to host. The house was built from solid wood beams and stone walls making this the perfect manly structural design. Honey wheat colored wood floors throughout the house with a deck wrapped in glass railing. You would love this home as much as I would if you had a chance to sleep overnight.

DD16 Floating House

DD16 Floating House

BIO-architects are a Russian firm who has recently revealed their freshest contemporary modular cabin—and this one floats on water, believe it or not. Prefabricated off-site, the DD16 house was dropped on a lake near Moscow and is lightweight and strong enough to float and withstand severe winter heights. Designed for remote locations, the off-grid cabin uses solar energy for electricity, draws fresh water from the lake, and uses a composting toilet for waste.

Self-taught designer Fernando Abellanas designs Urban Cabin

Self-taught designer Fernando Abellanas designs Urban Cabin

Seldom we feel like we have nothing when we have no capital to back our projects, but we do, we have our talents, skills, and determination to be the creative genius. Self-taught designer Fernando Abellanas proves that talent meshed with hard work produces greatness with his Urban Cabin he built beneath the energetic city bridge of Valencia. Abellanas, who designs furniture and lighting under the studio name Lebrel, formed the tiny timber- and metal-framed cabin in a matter of two weeks.

By designing a set of wheels that allow the studio to be moved using only a hand crank along the preexisting concrete columns of the bridge, Abellanas is able to move the studio as he wishes.

Abellanas is able to hide from the hectic city pace without having to hide away somewhere nestled deep in the forest for peace.

Seaside Residence overlooks the Jersey Shore

The architects of Jeff Jordan used a cladding material to compliment the beach house living characteristic. The most significant slice of this house is the second-floor living space that extends out to the sun deck to allow this couple to soak in the sun and the vast ocean views surrounding this home. Zoning was important in this neighborhood so the architects had to respect the zoning laws while building a beach house that accommodated the sea view, while not building higher than zoning allows.

Home in Holland shaped like a Giant A

The house by Ruud Visser Architects features a two-tone brick facade that looks like an enormous letter A, while its posterior is a three-storey wall of windows to offer views of nature’s sanctuary.

Architects designed the front of the building to coordinate with masonry of its traditional neighbors, yet adding a lighter colored brick to outline and highlight its existence.

The studio said,

“The main challenge was to blend a new, contemporary, house into this complex historic setting. We decided to adapt the local ‘messiness’ into our design.”

The homes sides were left all white to give that contemporary broader appeal.

The New City Bus

You no longer need to own or have friends who have a Mercedes Benz just to enjoy a ride in it. The all new city buses for the future will use Mercedes Benz buses as transportation for the inner city folks who take the bus to get around.

Big love in a tiny house

Inside this small house lives a loving young couple who wanted a home that would keep them close to each other. I’d have to agree, they are going to be very close. Tiny living is the new thing these days. You get a little for a little money. People build these homes for several reasons. One reason it’s too save money, minimalist lifestyle or just a home you can trail around from state to state versus driving an RV.

Mirrored Cabin

Guys, there are countless ways to construct your dream house, cabin, or that getaway hideout for yourself. This unique architecture is built from a ranch-style American provincial home. Architect-designer Doug Aitken built this cabin from top to bottom by cladding mirrors somewhere in Palm Springs California. Like a chameleon, the unique building takes on its surroundings and becomes camouflaged into the tremendous California desert. Inside, the reflective facade creates a kaleidoscopic impression expected to provoke confusion rather than ease.

Have you ever wanted to experience the life you have just somewhere else? I’ve operated in remote environments that are in the heart of nowhere, no other habitation nearby and the people are difficult to find cause you’re sequestered. Coodo does just that with their mobile habitat that you can place damn near anywhere on earth to find your escape. No need to book a hotel that isn’t located on a deserted island, just purchase the land and place down your Coodo where’d you like it to be and call it your hotel away from home.
