Vagabund V12 BMW R100RT Motorcycle

[ad_1]

Vagabund’s industrial influenced custom motorcycles can be found worldwide, with each one being designed and hand-built at their shop in Austria. Vagabund’s latest work, the V12, is based on a BMW R100RT, the last of the “airheads” — the original air-cooled boxer motor that defined BMW’s bikes since their inception. Starting with a proper stance, the front forks have been shortened just over two inches and an LSL street-style handlebar fitted. A custom rear subframe was fabricated and carries a new seat and 3D-printed cowl. Vagabund makes extensive use of 3D-printed design, with fork covers with integrated LED turn signals, hand controls, and indicator light housing all manufactured using the process. The solid rear wheel cover is made from hand-laid glass fiber reinforced plastic, and a new exhaust along with an all-black paint job completes the menacing package. Not only a striking design, the V12 is also completely street legal and ready for the road.
