Oak Woodland House | Uncrate

[ad_1]

Surrounded by 80-foot oak trees and an open space preserve, the Oak Woodland House utilizes indoor and outdoor spaces to get the most out of the park-like setting. The home itself, designed by Walker Warner Architects, is clean and modern with elongated rooflines that protect the interior from the summer sun. Generous amounts of glazing keep the interior connected to the rural landscape with both views and seamless transitions between living spaces and outdoor terraces. Landscaping designed by Ground Studio adds to the natural setting, becoming an extension of the native fauna. Internally, floor-to-ceiling windows bring in views of the surroundings while warm wood planks, limestone floors, and pieces curated by ODADA create a casual yet modern atmosphere that complements the organic scenery.
