Leica M6 Leitz Auction Camera

Created to honor the 20th anniversary of the Leitz Photographica Auction, which typically features rare, vintage Leica cameras, Leica has created a limited-edition M6. The Leica M6 Set “Leitz Auction” is instantly recognizable thanks to intricately-detailed wood armoring made from walnut veneer and a glossy black finish on the body and matching Noctilux-M 50 f/1.2 ASPH lens. The iconic “red dot” logo is here rendered in solid gold by a goldsmith in Wetzlar, Germany, and is joined by gold markings and text on both the camera and lens. It arrives with a glossy black lens cap, body cap, and lens hood, along with a custom-made black leather strap. Available exclusively through Leica Camera Classics in Vienna, it’s limited to 20 examples.
