Religious imagery, including angels and demons, has a history dating back millennia. Jean-Michel Basquiat offered his own take on this theme when painting his 1982 work Untitled (Angel). Seen here on a triptych of boards from The Skateroom, it offers multiple depictions of the titular subject overlayed on top of one another in black, white, and gold, atop a roughly-rolled canvas of blue and black with repeating “court” text visible in the background. The set includes three wall mounts, one for each deck, as well as hanging instructions.
Dimensions: 31″ x 8″ (per deck)
