1962 Bowmore STAC 55 Year Old Scotch Whisky

Founded in 1779 the town of Bowmore and its famous distillery sits above Loch Indaal, a sea lock on the island of Islay in Scotland. In a truly once-in-a-lifetime event, one bottle of Bowmore’s 55-year-old single malt STAC scotch will go to auction courtesy of Sotheby’s. The winning bidder will receive a magnum-sized, hand-blown bottle that evokes the rocks that meet the sea in the town of Bowmore, containing 1.5 liters of scotch. In addition, a 10-centiliter bottle is included, for sampling the goods without having to open the centerpiece. The Bowmore STAC auction begins October 5, 2023 at 9 AM EDT.
