1989 Lamborghini Countach 25th Anniversary

[ad_1]

Lamborghini had every reason to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Countach, and celebrate they did — for three years and 658 units. Horacio Pagani reworked Marcello Gandini’s timeless lines for the occasion, adding some lower-body cladding and strakes to the intakes over the rear fenders. The touches weren’t subtle, but neither was Gandini’s original design. This 1989 25th Anniversary model was delivered new to a dealer in New Jersey, where it remained until the current owner purchased the car on Bring a Trailer. A smoother European-spec front bumper was installed, the rear wing was removed, and the dash has been recovered — all of which is included in the auction. The car shows just over 3,500 miles, making it a very low-mileage example of the last Countach.
