Originally built in 1961, Richard Neutra’s Taylor House is a master class in creating a connection with nature. The 1,477-square-foot dwelling is situated on a half-acre in California’s Verdugo Woodlands. Surrounded by nature, Its open floor plan is encased in glazing, blurring the boundaries between the living spaces and the neighboring live oak trees and the rolling hills in the distance. The two-bedroom interior is arranged around a fireplace and is full of mid-century modern details including red brick walls, wood panels, and vintage tile floors. The mid-century masterpiece is now available for monthly rentals.
