1973 Ferrari Dino 246 GTS Chairs & Flares

[ad_1]

One of the rarest examples of the Ferrari Dino is the “chairs and flares” configuration, 91 of which were built for the US market. “Chairs and flares” refers to the Daytona-style seats and flared fenders required to cover the wider Campagnolo wheels and tires. Chassis no. 05830 is one of those 91 Dinos, a 256 GTS spyder example in striking Giallo Fly yellow over a Nero Connolly leather interior. The original owner ticked more than just the boxes for the seats and wheels, with a Momo steering wheel, Borletti air-conditioning, and a Becker AM/FM radio also on the options list. Power comes from a 2.4-liter V6 making 189 horsepower, sent to the rear wheels via a five-speed manual gearbox. This Dino has been driven, with over 77,000 miles on the odometer, but looks to be in immaculate shape. The car is currently up for auction on Bring a Trailer.
